2020 Registration

Registration

The sickle cell community is invited to join us for the 7th Annual Sickle Cell Patient and Family (Digital) Educational Symposium (The Warriors Convention). We welcome all patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, research scientists, and others, to join us as we present “Citizen Scientist: Harnessing the Power of the Patient & Caregiver Voice”.

This year, ALL sickle cell warriors and caregivers are automatically awarded the scholarship registration rate of $15. There is NO application. Participants attending the Community Lunch and Learns will be invited to enjoy lunch on us as we educate and empower each other. We do, however, request that all Warrior and Caregiver participants plan to attend the main Community Lunch and Learn sessions, along with 50% of other sessions. This year’s Registration Kit will be digital and it will be emailed to all participants. This Digital Registration Packet will include the program book, access to the website and mobile app, and digital copies of multiple patient-powered educational resources. Those who check-in each morning will also receive instructions to place your lunch order (if available in your area). An option to purchase a physical registration kit is provided as an add-on.

Registration Instructions:
To register, first select your Ticket Type, and then select the “add on” sessions that you plan to attend.

The first add-on is the Physical Registration Kit. A physical registration kit, to complement the digital kit, will be mailed to participants who select this add-on option and register no later than Friday, November 6, 2020. Physical registration packets can be added to your check-out cart separately and include the program book, multiple patient-powered educational resources, and other registration materials (such as water tumbler, face mask, etc.). Additional items will be mailed based on sessions chosen during registration for those who choose the physical registration add-on.

We have planned a robust and engaging agenda full of education, empowerment, and fun. There are mutliple sessions that we require participants to select during check-out. Those who opt to add the physical registration kit will be mailed additional items to compliment several of the sessions. These sessions can be enjoyed without the purchase of the physical registration kit.

After you have selected all of your add-ons, you will be directed to complete the registration question where you will have an opportunity to identify your specific track. You may select all that apply. This year, we are bringing back the Children’s Track, the Young Adult Track, The Men Track, and the Trait Track. All of this is in addition to the General Track sessions.

*International participants will only receive the digital registration package. Unfortunately, we will be unable to ship outside of the United States.
